  1. EDIT: My Room Assistant video is LIVE! https://youtu.be/UQkeaxrX7D8

    Also thanks for the suggestions about preventing the lights from turning on with the motion sensor. I added an automation, see more info in this tweet https://twitter.com/smarthomesolver/status/1485306973801250825

    I solved this exact tv situation by polling the wattage of the tv outlet with a kasa smart outlet and python-kasa. Lighting effects are bypassed while polling continues to register above a certain wattage, which is somewhere between minimum use wattage and sleep wattage.

  2. Nice house. I'm jealous. As soon as housing becomes affordable I will set up my home like you have. As of now I work full time and I'm homeless.

  3. Dope Crib Bro! 👏👏

  4. just curious if u've run an energy analysis on all these sensors. any chance your actually using more energy sensing these things all the time than u would if u just left the lights on with no sensors?

  5. Dude what job do you have?!

  6. Weird vibes…..

  7. You can add magnet sensors to the bread box and know when they start using their iPads 😂

  8. Please sir may I have some more……your house is what I dream of and what my wife has nightmares over 😂

  9. im from europe and this is awful

  10. you can disable the ads and stuff in setting > Home Screen and select what you want.

    This video reminded me of why white people are so widely hated.

  11. All of the smart devices in your smart home can be externally controlled by a terrorist operative who wishes to psychologically torture you by wireless remote means. . Your gates can be externally controlled to lock you out. Your lights can be controlled to switch off and remain off if someone wishes to come in a murder you all. Your smart electric shower can be externally controlled to switch to cold after thirty seconds and then switch off entirely after another thirty seconds under the guise of sustainability. Your washing machine can be externally controlled to only wash clothes once per week, also under the guise of sustainability. Your smart television can and probably is being externally controlled to spy on you. Your smart meter will be externally controlled to limit the amount of electricity you will be allowed to use in the future. Your smart heating system can be externally controlled to keep your whole house at 16 degrees celsius instead of 20 degrees celsius under the guise of sustainability. Why haven't you thought of all this. Smart homes have been designed to wirelessly enslave you in the future because they would eventually be entirely externally controlled by individuals who wish to digitally enslave us all under the false guise of sustainable development. Don't even purchase an electric bicycle because that can also be wirelessly interfered with. Return to the use of off grid devices as much as possible. I use a manual bicycle and I have a gas cooker for when the electricity is switched off.

  12. Hey I just discovered your channel and I have watched a bunch of your videos today already. Quick question how did you get the picture in picture to work on your TV like that been googling and haven't been able to find anything similar to the setup you have here, is it a LG exclusive feature or are you using something homebrewed ?

    Americans have way too much money and way too much time.

  13. This is all for lazy people, unnesessery things i don't like it at all. But if you need this bunch of electronics in your house good for you.

  14. It’s like the Ironman house

    bro needs to automate a workout routine into his life.

  15. Have you considered a ooler or sleep 8 pod?

  16. Thanks. Wonderfully inovative and a very wide range of products. One question… How are you progressing with voice-controlled automation?

    I am finding it quite buggy on both Amazon and Google devices. Even after settling on the correct vernacular, repeating the same terms

    can often not generate the same results!

    Have you done, or are you planning a video on voice-control?

  17. Teach me how to tony stark my house please!

  18. Very nice setup. I made an home automation system built on top of OpenHAB 3 on raspberry and some sonoff (flashed with tasmota firmware) and esp8266 device. It's simpler than your but it works 🙂 I never made a video tour just like your…maybe it's an idea for the next video on my channel. Thanks for showing

  19. Wow! What an awesome home and video.

  20. In most rooms tipycal motion sensor will work just fine

  21. Very interesting. Love the video. Cool guy.

  22. maybe I'm just simple 🤷

  23. I'm not a fan of home automation. I feel there's a privacy issue here. It could be hacked at any time. Suppose the ac man is checking your system. You say would you like some coffee. So, you're sitting on the couch…and your oven timer goes off. Excuse me, my pie is ready. So, while you are in the kitchen, he picks up the remote and say these are some really nice pictures.

  24. Em okay, now THAT is a very automated house 😀 Currently i'm using my smarthome pretty basically: Turning on and off lights via homekit, avm light bulbs and outlets which are usually not homekit compatible. But a Raspberry Pi is running homebridge so they can talk to each other

  25. But how dit everthing worm together?

  26. I can't bring myself to trust smart locks.

  27. Hi, In this video in the beginning you showed a doorbell that displayed on the TV while you were watching TV, what doorbell is that and where can I get it? Thanks!

    Very nice very informative video but could you please tell that this setup you are using ton of radio waves and radiation in your house so what do you suggest about radiation side effects on health.
    Thanks

  28. Hearing Alexia say, "Luna, you lazy ball of fur", and seeing her respond, 🐕💨💨too funny. 😂

  29. Thank you for showing us your house

  30. I have two suggestions: 1: plug a nightlight into the smart plug in the hallway that has nothing plugged into it. Use a motion sensor to just turn the night light on, and then make the lights turn on at an extremely dim brightness. Two: ditch the old android phone entirely on the bicycle in the bedroom and just use the hacked android tablet screen.

  31. What door bell camera is that

  32. Can I hire you too do my entire house

  33. Presenting – THE JETSONS….. beautiful video

  34. The motion sensors are good but many you should do videos about Google a little bit more than alexa

  35. well that motion sensor TV watching issue should be solvable with some scripting;

    If TV power draw => 5 w
    and lights is off ->
    disable motion sensor TV room.

    I want a voice recorder in all of my rooms. I want it to go straight to google so they can learn more about me.

  36. is this the house that Mr. Bean used in his movie?

    Dude, you got way, way too much tech going on. Do yourself and your family a favor and get rid of most of it. It will bring your family closer together. I did this a year ago and it has made a huge, huge difference. Sure keep a little bit of it around, but this is way over the top IMO.
