150ms lag is terrible, can’t gloss over that. Just because the price can be justified with cost of parts that does not make it a good deal for its purpose. There is noooo way around it, the function it provides is not worth it. It’s not a device that is good for action low latency games, it’s not good for visually rich games (blocking, and what looks like a blurry mess)…. So it’s good for fun light games…that’s it….that’s a lot to pay for fun light games.
Can you replace the controller portion if it develops controller drift? All 3 of my PS5 controllers have a drift…
I’m still a bit salty about the fact that I can’t connect my Sony headphones to either my Sony tv or my Sony ps5 without a dongle.
Unmarked advertising is against ToS, and also illegal in most places.
I feel like this could be just another crap shot gimmick device from Sony like so many others they've made in the past honestly don't think support of this will last long and don't think it'll ever be useful outside of the PS5 people are better off saving their money and buying an actual real portable console.
Steam Deck is better. Sure its a little more expensive but its better quality and completely portable even without an Internet connection. This is a portable as long as you don't leave the house. If Anyone is thinking of getting this I would recommend waiting till next year's Black Friday might be able to pick it up for 150$ and Sony might have fixed any problems with it.

I just don't really get the point why would I rather play on a tiny screen vs my oled with a ton of extra latency again? It would be like only using my steam deck when streaming from my desktop. Why?
This thing just shouldn't exist. It's completely worthless when it's not connected to a ps5 which makes it just an egregious degree of e-waste. You should at least have some kind of SOC in there and a web browser and a Bluetooth chip

I don’t play on consoles, I have a steam deck/PC but the portal seems to be trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist(?) If your connection is horrible you’re going to be using it next to your console anyway

It's not that I don't see a use case for this device. But what I don't see is why everyone who wanted this didn't just buy a $150 tablet and a $50 telescopic gamepad, or gamepad attachment, in 2020.
This is like a tablet, except worse in every way imaginable. A tablet can stream Xbox, PC, PS5, PS4, Cloud, and you can browse the web and watch movies. What can this do? Stream from the PS5. Wow… and even then, it won't connect to hotspots that require a browser login and it doesn't support bluetooth. It's just so incredibly underwhelming.
You want this? Buy a tablet. Walmart has a $150 one right now. Thank me later

Would have probably been good if you tested this at one of your employees houses who may not have the best wired ps5 setup and a great wifi connection to actually give people an idea of how this thing performs in 99% of use cases.
I had a PS vita and it was awesome! Linus, you can’t sale this thing to me. It’s damn near useless.
4:27 "likely to be stuffed into a backpack" why would you do that? to my understanding this device cannot function without connecting to the PS5 via your LOCAL NETWORK. why would you be packing it on a backpack?
