Who doesn’t like a free CPU? The answer is a bit more complicated than you’re imagining. This computer might look small and unassuming, but inside it is a motherboard you’ve never seen before, a 64-core processor unlike anything you currently own, and the technology behind it could have far reaching geopolitical implications in the very near future. It is the subject of trade sanctions, stock dumps, and could lead us into the next technology-fueled cold war. But can it game?

Amazing Products TV Did these AWFUL PC Setups get any better?

  1. At 16:15 we refer to Imagination Technologies as a "GPU Startup". With a legacy dating back to 1985, Imagination Technologies is the brains behind the PowerVR GPU series among other achievements. Apologies for the mix-up in the video; they're definitely more than just a "GPU Startup."

  2. I am so excited about impending RICV/ ARM transition from X86. I am honestly surprised they have stuck around for this long.

  3. Your ETS2 installment has run better than my one would run on my old 2013 laptop in the West Balkans 😀

  4. The first name of ARM was of course Acorn RISC machine, but they dropped the leave when they left their dead tree company.

  5. And to think just a few weeks ago people were clowning on China for rebadging intel CPUs

  6. clickbait

  7. I like the idea of open source hardware, but installing CHINESE SPYhardWARE ??? No thanks…

  8. world is driven by money and costs – it's inevitable that Risc-V will establish as a major architecture because it will be pushed so much into the market by all this f**king greedy tech concerns because they can maximize their profits with it. Additionally stupid US politics that cut off China from ARM will force them to accelerate adoption of Risc-V.

  9. Made the Linux community me proud getting euro truck simulator running for the first time ever on RISC-V.

  10. Hey linus can you do a review on Huawei laptops, I heard some news that it's processor is nearing the performance of apple M1 chips, would love to see it

  11. Which Linux Kernel are you using? It's expected that you can't see BIOS because it might lack firmware support for your graphics card, but as long as your graphics card is supported in kernel and driver, it should be working.

  12. All this time I thought it was called RISC Vee

  13. So many intelligent people comment on this. I can't even understand what this is all about 😅

  14. he sware – shut up $ let is go

  15. RISC… as in RISC that the Acorn.. was running back in the day (before my PC days)..? Back at school.. Yeh I'm an.. older nerd.

  16. They could have saved Marco Rubio for another segway and just used, can it help us to segway to our sponsor, ODU?

  17. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. RISC-V has at least 10 years of catching up to do.

  18. Here at 938,169 views.

  19. 6:54 isn't there box86?
