  1. If you are looking for some quick smart home updates, I’ll be posting more on my Twitter and Instagram. Just yesterday I showed what the new Nanoleaf Essential bulb looks like next to LIFX. Follow me if you want!

  2. How do I have lights go to a preset at certain times? I have Kasa dimmers and run Alexa. When I do the themes in Kasa app I can set brightness at sunrise or set but it turns the light on. And I can have Alexa activate those but that's not what I want. How do I program it so that if I walk in the closet to get dressed for work at 0500 my 75w equivalent daylight bulbs don't come on full blast and blind me. I'd like to hit the switch at night and have them default to say 50%, then if I hit the switch at noon they come on at 100%.

  3. 3:18 this scene represents me so well I have a ad blocker and whenever I see a ad I am like “why do I see ads?”

  4. Good luck with your move! It will be interesting to see what stays and what goes in the new house!

  5. OMG I want to see setting this back up in new house

  6. I think is interesting cause you have to fit all your smart things to an apartment

  7. Congratulations on the new house! My wife and I are almost in the same boat. Our new house should be done in March. I’ve been making a list of all the new smart home devices I want. Those Brilliant switches are number 1 right now lol

  8. Anyone know which motion sensors and window/door sensors he uses? I'm trying to get my new house to a smart home!

  9. With google introducing routines, I would be interested in seeing a revisit of some of your videos, just with google.

  10. all the best on the move! hope to see more automation stuff soon.

  11. Congratulations to you and the family!! Been a follower for awhile and love your content. My wife and I just recently bought our first home and moving from a rental to our OWN home brings excitement to venture more into home automation. Will definitely be referring back to your videos!

  12. Good luck with the move, and have a great holiday season and new year.

Loving your videos. I’ve been doing upgrades at my house and they’ve been really helpful. Thanks for the update and good luck with the move. I LOVE the little skit at the end. Your family seems like a lot of fun!

  13. A house is so boring without smart kit 😂

  14. I want to subscribe to you sooo bad and you don’t know how much YouTubers I want to subscribe to but idk why but my parents are so strict but they don’t let my subscribe to people

  15. I'd love to see a video where you talk about prepping the new house for possible future things (since it's down to the bones) BEST TIME TO PLAN IS NOW!

  16. Kudos on the new home Reid! You are one of the most wholesome content creators! I am currently building my home and your content amounts for 90% of my home automation efforts! Keep the good work!

  17. Hi Reid good luck with the house move I’ve just under gone some changes in my house since March it’s been a building site inside and out just sorted my kitchen out back with the automated lights with sensor it’s so much better than not having them though my wife wouldn’t agree looking forward to your new home and videos

  18. Congrats Reid. I would like to really see, how your new home is prewired before your sheet rock goes in. Outlet recommendations, internet locations, and how you stage it out to meet your automation lifestyle. From inside to outside landscaping electrical. I just bought a new home and im thinking of a new home already to meet my automation outlet frenzy. As well, will this new home have a designated Reid area…. hint hint Mancave ( I mean family game room), if so thought process for electrical and internet. Last one as well will you sound proof some areas. Thanks 🙏. Good luck with your build

  19. Reid, congrats on your new home build. good luck with the move!

  20. I feel the pain you are going through now, I moved three weeks ago to a much bigger apartment and didn't label anything.
I don't know what I was thinking at that moment …
But removing all the smart home tech is much easier than installing it.
