  1. Which Qualcomm chip powers the tablet?

  2. This is something very useful. I wish we could have a button to toggle the two

  3. Very intriguing, just might have to pick one up to try.

  4. OK. so, no windows when detached? no android while attached? hot switching between the two in any physical stage would be the absolute best thing ever.

  5. Ok, now this might be EXACTLY what I was looking for. It'll depend on the specs (specifically it's video editing capabilities) and how integrated it truly is (I don't just want to buy essentially a tablet that can be a monitor and a laptop, I want the data that's stored on it to be accessible when I'm in either Android or Windows). But if this checks those boxes, this would be amazing.

  6. This is honestly the type of device I've been waiting for but is so unfortunately held back by software constraints. If Microsoft were smart they'd make a version of windows that can intelligently adapt to the device it's being used on and access android apps natively through the subsystem. But for devices like this I'd settle for a few compromises to make the integration between the two OSS seamless. This most reminds me of the Steam Deck having Linux and SteamOS modes. This also makes me really want a Microsoft handheld that can swap between Windows and Xbox modes. I think the implications of this type of technology is so underrated. Mobile hardware is getting so powerful, but is held back by functionality and software. No one wants full windows in their pockets, but at the same time we all wish our phones or tablets could do more considering how much we pay and the tech specs. A device that can swap between a mobile oriented OS and a desktop OS when "docked" sounds fantastic. Now if only it were affordable…

  7. Why would I want this? I use Android and Windows already, but why would I want both in the same device?

  8. I simply don't understand it.

  9. this concept never worked.

  10. Like the concept of Surfsce Book.

  11. This seems completely useless – there's basically never a need to have Android when you have Windows… isn't that the whole point of a tablet in the first place, that you don't want to lug a laptop around?

You end up having two sets of storage, two batteries (or one battery in the screen, also bad), you know an Android tablet isn't that heavy right?

And with the X1 Elite around the corner, it's probably not long until we are able to sideload Android apps directly from Windows or perhaps even dual boot into Android…

  12. Geez $2000 for a dual OS laptop is pretty high price for such a product. I get that it's great but dang $2000 dollars? Pretty steep.

  13. They can just make a laptop multi boot ( window arm , lunix , android ) from qualcom x elitle !

  14. Lenovo has accomplished the thing that Surface Pro should've have done for years!

  15. This is basically selling a laptop with the tablet as the monitor. Not bad id say.

  16. Ah yes. Those popular android tablets

  17. I recon Android OEMs ought to just shift to full on Linux.

Get the full desktop experience and have a mobile skin.

  18. THIS is what Microsoft's Surfacebook line SHOULD HAVE BEEN all this time!!! Now fix that last hurdle of getting Google Play on there and the perfect on the go hybrid is there!

  19. Let's go!

  20. Great, NOW DO IT ON A SMARTPHONE

  21. One question- why?

  22. sooo….this is a more expensive samsung tab s9 ultra? this is hardly new…..

  23. The only catch? It's Lenovo.

  24. The Samsung Ativ Q (2013) had a similar concept with TouchWiz (Android 4.2.2) and Windows 8, but it was never released. It will be wild if Samsung surprisingly launches the Galaxy Book Q with Windows 11 and One UI 6 (Android 14).

  25. I want this but apple

  26. Windows 11 support android apps so why?

  27. Really wish my s8 ultra would run windows too

  28. For all 6 of you who want this… enjoy 🤑

  29. For the price you can just buy two devices

  30. But can they access each other's storage or have shared storage, so we can use and work on the same data?

  31. But why?
