I don't understand why I need my bed, or my bike, or my mouse, or my friggin monitor to have AI and monitor what I do. Seems like just another pile of e-waste waiting to be thrown away to some 3rd world countries

It is like every other technology… It will have its incredibly useful applications, it's stupid applications, and its negative applications.

Can't detect it well they could see the monitor in device manager and just ban anyone using it which is what they should do. Cause they totaly will get to a point where it's an Ai engine in the monitor sending commands to an Ai engine in mouse and just becoming an aim bot. Need to stop this shit before it starts and teach thr manufacturers a lesson about helping players cheat.

The thing that worries me is you know this stuff is going to cost a sub fee going forward. They will hook you in, then start charging for a sub down the line with new generations of the product. Worse still the hardware will have no option to not have it equip with the tech that costs money. So, the hardware price will go up regardless of if you want to pay a sub to whatever rubbish it is. My thoughts are it will start with "extra XYZ for $" or "hey you like this feature, how about this other better one for just $? a month". Its going to happen.
We are extremely close to having "translators" that you can wear around your neck to automatically translate your language and another language INTO a headset so that you can understand people. It won't be long at all. We are on the precipice of having no more language barriers at all which is wild to think about.
AR glasses that enable you to read foreign characters via AI combined with character recognition as well as a "communicator" that can use AI to automatically convert your speech into audible foreign languages and send foreign language input into an earpiece to your native language.
Crazy times. We're not there yet, but we are very, very close.

All AI is gonna do is add more cost to everything. I dont need AI.. infact im happy without it. Yes naturally some stuff with be default with ai but not something i need to interface with. Looking at you Microsoft.

They can keep their privacy invading garbage to themselves. I already know how to cook, I dont want or need AI in a bike when I dont even ride an electric bike and everything else is just creepy, unnecessary or isnt really AI. The bed caught my interest but certainly not for that price, I'll stick to my sleep number

I need the mouse, Im disabled so the voice feature would help massively, and if it could be linked to navigation command it really help. Someone send me one to test out……
i guess printing 2 letters next to a product name is not a huge deal , as long as they can haul your data to the bank
If developers wanted to they could just detect what time of monitor you have and then block your game from accessing online game modes. The dev "just" need a way of regularly maintaining a list of all AI enhanced monitors through some automation.

Lets get an AI monitor that uses computer vision to find the head of your enemies, then it could act as a mouse and move your crosshair at them…. "Its not cheating as a skilled player could already do this by moving the mouse themselves" I hope msi comes to their senses and doesn't release a cheating tool…

After seeing all this crap, I'm no longer worried about either the robot apocalypse, or deep fakes. This whole AI thing is just another marketing gimmick, like 3D TVs.

We are definitely in the cringy early days of ai integration, but give it 5-10 years. Going to be a different world. But in weird small ways taking over everyday small tasks.
need to make a robot that is fascinated with other robots and technology, collects LCD displays and trades digitizations like fan show casting. Convinces people why AI is the future and how come you should need them now that all your old animals died.
Now that monitor is definitely pay to win😅😅
