Lots of other good links in the description, so check that out if you’re looking for something!
the dumpster piece – doesn't make sense if you don't have a high resolution to catch the license plates of the car.
all of this is nerd shit.
Do you happen to have a link to the automation.yaml for the dishwasher? I picked up the sensor and the lights, but I'm not smart enough to figure out how to deploy them to achieve that effect.
Our dishwasher routine isn't nearly that cool. We have a dirty/clean magnet, but I also made an alexa routine so I just say "Alexa I did the dishes" and it says "OK I'll tell s****(my teen)" and then it waits 4 hours, then turns their smart bulb orange. They won't allow an alexa in their room. 😆
I suspect wifey is rethinking her decision to agree to be shot by a nerf dart. That wasn't acting.
Right, always snowing in Ontario Canada but always sunny in Maine USA
Nice shot. Right in the tit
I’m so loving this Chanel
Is there a way to automate your shower?
you should buy the new coffee maker from Keurig . I have an automation in the morning that tells me my coffee is ready. and once my coffee brews remotely the light turns to green to let me know its ready
On the dumpster, would have been simpler to have it self unlock when picked up, via a pressure sensor… Then no one is using it unauthorized.
I so need that nerf gun alarm clock! lmao
That dishwasher contact sensor with the temperature sensor is genius! I was wondering how to solve this problem! (And what the purpose of the temp sensor is in my aqara contact sensor is)
ρɾσɱσʂɱ ?
Man love your videos. I've spent hours doing home automation because of your channel. Lots of fun. This series are great, lots of good ideas. Love the one for the bedroom automation.
what is the switch i saw you put little labels over that had 1 and 2 on it ?
That dishwasher automation… Genius
Hi there. I’d love to submit my automations. What’s the best way to contact you? I made a small example but not much explanation.

Thanks Reed! For the dishwasher, do you have any idea for the best way to do this with Echo devices / routines?
i would like an automated idea on how my phone or alexa would alert me if i left my stove on …..anyone?
Great Vid, your daughter has good aim LOL
If your rangehood does not slide out, how about a vibration sensor to trigger the increase in sound on your assistant
Me again, I hope you reply to some of my questions:
Got smart bulbs but when we have a power cut, when it comes back,t hey all turn on??
Ill give you a smart tip not to pile up dishes in the dishwasher: empty it out every time it's done. That easy.
