  1. useless video about useless device 😂😅

  2. 4:18 why is she talking about star wars when the person is watching Foundation season 2.

  3. I was one of those first Macintosh owners of 40 years ago. The graphic user interface is what hooked me. But I soon became disappointed with all the limitations: only 128k of RAM, only 2 programs at first and they came on 4 floppy disks (the 3 & 1/2 inch disks couldn't hold a whole program) which meant constant disk swaps. Then later, I was one of the first Newton owners. That was more frustrating than the MAC. It's hand writing recognition was not ready for prime time. So Apple has taught me over the years to never be an early adopter. Its better to be an investor in the company than an eager early consumer of its products.

  4. They made enough for all you unbox and review channels across social media 😭😂😭😂

  5. I've never thought the Vision Pro was very expensive, for what it is. And yes, there will be a market for that. I would buy one, if I had the money for it. By the time I have the money, I'm sure the features will have improved considerably, but I don't expect the price to come down. This is what it is, and what it's going to be. And given both the cost and the value comparison, it's not bad. You didn't even do the breakdown of the Mac computers and screens it could replace, which makes it look even more reasonable.

Vision Pro is very reasonably priced, for a market that relatively few people happen to be in.

  6. That’s a cool billion in sales in the first 2-3 weeks for a brand new product.

  7. People need to understand that the Vision Pro is not for the average cash strapped consumer. The "Pro" is a term coined for people who do creative work. In other words, this model is for developers. Only a fool would buy one now given the lack of apps. Apple with use the money for R&D to lower costs on the consumer model. It will only get better with time and become the defacto headset like the ipad is to tablets and apple watch is to smart watches.

  8. I really believe this is the catalyst for spacial computing. It’ll get better and lighter down the road.

  9. the only thing i learned from this video is that CNET is too cheap to buy a vision pro for this woman to test and review.

  10. no pork in mecca and medina saudi arabia

  11. Medical use, hopefully.

  12. $3500 is a lot of spatial to pay when you could invest that money long term.

  13. Just buy a quest pro instead of this

  14. pls deep fake Steve Jobs once again for this spatial computing era presentation

  15. This is awesome ❤

  16. so itl maintain about 10% market share for decades?

  17. You deserve a raise. Seriously, you could be talking about wall paper and make it entertaining.

  18. 1 week to go, can't wait!

  19. I really think that the real interesting feature of the Vision Pro is the Apple Experiences (or something like that). I just have a feeling that this will be an Apple “Subscription Service” in the future. Can you imagine paying a subscription price to sit court side watching your favorite basketball team or behind home plate watch your favorite baseball team during the season? I think it may be worth it IF it truly feels like you are there. I guess I’ll find out given the fact that Apple Vision Pro launches with the Alicia Keys intimate concert.

  20. With 26.3 million software developers worldwide i guess they are the primary target demo for vision pro with a few tech enthusiasts, youtubers and high earners added to the mix.

  21. Waiting V2, like iPhone 3G, iPad 2, etc…

  22. VR is nothing new 😂. I doubt this helps with productivity outside of medical applications.

  23. Because of the Cost just don't see a lot of them sold to consumers. Business might give them a try but who knows.

  24. Great video. Really well done and informative without being overly biased like most videos about the headset where they are either extremely for it or extremely against it.

  25. Shocked. I ordered it. Can't wait to try it.

  26. I like this comparison

  27. I think the quest 3 can view 3d models, too

  28. I'm a video editor and I can't imagine having that heavy thing strapped to my face for hours a day. But I'm sure as they advance they'll get much smaller and lighter (smart glasses, for example)

  29. With sales tax of 7.0 percent Vision Pro is going to cost me $3,762.50. Not to mention any other crap I have to buy for it. That is closer to $4000. Why would I do that. SAMSUNG 77-Inch Class OLED 4K is $2,900.34 and that's with 7.0 percent sales tax. It won't make my 63-ft trawler any better. And TV looks great on the boat. Why the Vision Pro?

  30. Cool Analogy, great video :). With this thing/product however I feel is GG "Privacy", anyone's ID will now be available via vision recog. just by looking at them, or looking at them and blinking, etc. Biggest implications here I think are for "security" industry in general. Can have one system ID a "trespasser" for ex., and then have "vision pro" etc., "highlight their silhouette" etc., with a green field etc. Going to be much harder to be a criminal etc., perhaps, but also may facilitate a sort of very "capable" totalitarian type security state if one will potentially, which can go many ways perhaps.

  31. I am sorry, but I just don't understand how this is going to be better than a Quest 3, which is only one-eighth the cost. I know, better resolution. But that is basically it right? And the Quest comes with controllers.

  32. I preordered the Vision Pro. I've been thinking about and waiting for something like it for most of my life, so there was no way I was going to be able to resist getting a set. I will admit I did not expect Apple to be the first company to make a legitimately interesting mixed reality device, but I'm actually glad that it is. When Apple commits itself to a new tech, it's because they truly believe in it. They aren't the type of company to only go halfway in. BTW, I can't wait to watch movies alone inside goggles! 😉

  33. Sad how Steve Jobs really got people mobile computing and now Apple is like sit on couch and put this on your face lol it’s not even the same thing apple forgot they had iPod that made iPhone so good and the Vision Pro don’t even have YouTube so who’s it for

  34. But a Mac can handle a hot day when today temperatures is going to be too hot to operate a Vision Pro it’s 5° hotter than it can work and your supposedly wear it on your face how hot would that be

  35. 1984…..2007… .2024….. Historic years for Apple.

  36. lol is cnet having budget cuts, just buy a Vision Pro

  37. "40 years ago" DAMN!
