  1. Happy to hear scrapyard wars is back!!

  2. I'd love to see a whole show with elijah, that was super interesting

  3. skins, like horse armor, gotta have that horse armor bois

  4. I bought a PS5 just to play Bloodborne and Demon Souls before Elden Ring(on PC)
They aren't really sequels to Dark Souls and Sekiro but I think I made my point.

  5. the efforts made to keep connected including calling on galaxy note 9 epic.

  6. The whole reason homework exists is to condition the labor force to working unpaid hours, to bringing work home, Look how hard companies like google lean into the habit of working outside of work hours. Homework should be abolished. It's a manipulative tactic.

  7. I don’t see the difference between buying skins and spending money on a cool looking water cooling loop

  8. When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty. This means corps being people is something we must actively reject and fight against. Just because one judge who is too old to honestly know anything about technology should be the minimum marker of this kind of BS.

  9. no home work and millionaire parents… I wish linus was my dad

  10. We have 100.000 Shafts…. i think i know this movie..

  11. Why complain about naming schemes that are not focused on tech heads, but rather on the uninformed masses, i.e. those that don't watch LTT or any other tech tube content.
Given the current buzz around AI, people will want an AI capable processor irrespective of whether their use of those features makes any meaningful difference.

Marketing is for the masses, not the informed. So long as the tech savvy can make determinations of specifications on any given chip, then what it's called is irrelevant.

Take for example the faux outrage over 7000 series APUs for laptops. Once you grasped the simple concept of 7×20, 7×30, 7×40 naming, it became at a glance what processor cores you were dealing with, yet OMG the confusion over the naming scheme because you had zen 2 and zen 3 cores in the 7000 series for different market segments.

All the "AI" is doing is denoting that the processor has an NPU and is likely an APU or derivative.

X3D denotes additional L3 Cache, AI denotes NPU, so we may get a Ryzen 9 AI 9950X3D, if they add an NPU into the I/O die, Though I expect we won't see that sort of thing until zen 6.

If the naming scheme denotes the particulars of the processor, then there shouldn't be any complaining.

  12. The amount of time people have said to me "its an i5 so its still pretty powerful" – 12 year old laptop.

  13. 47:06 ordering by clinking an add is just the first step into the dystopian future German author Marc-Uwe Kling dreamed up in Quality Land. Through AI and constant supervision the shop knows what you want before you know it and has it done delivered to you.
Hell of a good read and listen to. Especially if you’re into laughing at the darkest of times.

  14. Lol, luke… If u have internet, are you really "out in the bush"? Lol

  15. Should also look into the MT space for games live Evony, Clash of Clans, etc.
They keep people in endless loops. Ik some people that would spend $10k plus when a new server drops just to be in the top 5 for a few weeks till another new server and repeat.
One guy i used to play with spent $100k in a month to stay rank 1. Missed his alarm and the rank 2 took everyone of his cities within 30 seconds.

  16. 1:03:47 terrible take imho Luke. Easy to take a screwy stance here – we are allowing corpos to offset the cost of actual security – also the corpos using universally hated problems to advance their grip on society

  17. "Micro" transactions have not and will not make video games better in any way.
They have ruined alot of the video game genre's I enjoy.
    Examples
Favorite video games of all time
Battlefront 2 classic… EA Ruined the next gen Battlefront 2 with loot boxes.
Titanfall 2. Sequel will never release because skins in Apex make too much money.
Blizzard will never make another exceptional game because battle passes, skins, and pay to win is REQUIRED in every Blizzard game now.

  18. Cheat makers losing I think it bad.

I could see Nintendo and other console makers going after people who make mods for their console games. While it's not a hack how gamers would see it, would the courts see anything different?

  19. Cheat creators losing these suits is, sadly, NOT good: Cheats are bad, but it sets precedence against DRM circumvention and software modification which can be cited against modders and the developers of emulators: While not the exact same situation, the Yuzu lawsuit Nintendo filed actually cited their case against Gary Bowser, who made hacking devices for the Nintendo Switch, for example

  20. Honestly don't mind another host subs in if Luke or Linus is away. Riley, Alex, and Jake would make good alternatives. a time delayed Luke is less than ideal.

  21. Linus ''Do not approach me'' Sebastian
