Hell the ikea gaming range isnt half bad.
To be fair to those speaker designs, I’m pretty sure they designed them thinking the desk would be up against a wall so the sound would deflect off the wall and the user would hear them indirectly. Would definitely sound better in this situation, but I’m quite convinced they’d still sound like potatoes screaming, just higher fidelity and louder potatoes screaming.

You can get quality "desks" from home depot just buy a workbench. You can get a solid wood desk that wont sag, it's just going to be heavy, plus you can drill holes into it to mount hardware and it's going to hold.

I actually have 2 of these Sansui monitors… got off Amazon for $~70 USD. They're not perfect, but for a budget-conscious build that's not meant for epic gaming or editing, they're pretty decent.

Minor caveat for the "glow in the dark" printed wallet:
It'll only glow if the fluorescent print is charged with light first. If you expect it to glow immediately after taking it out of your pocket; this is unlikely to happen unless you wear slacks or dress pants as they are thin enough an adequate amount of light ca get through. Denim? Nope.
