Not necessarily the right spot here for this, but becsuse it was a short part of the WAN show. High frequency trading is something we don't need at all.
Ngl, this episode is kind of unhinged 😄
It sounds like Linus is in blade runner 2049
To not generate more carbon dioxide we should all live in pods consuming sludge like in the matrix.
The problem with BO6 isn't that it cost the same as a skin – but that it is pay2win – even if it isn't as good as advertised, that doesn't matter, because it is still sold as pay2win – and this is just the start of the famous slippery slope.
I see a lot of copium being taken by the CoD community – where creators can't really deny it looks bad, but try to play it off with stuff like it might not even be so good, or like Dan says, you can get free alternatives… But that isn't the point!
As consumers we need to stand up and say NO when BS like this is introduced, or in 2 years we cant find any games without P2W
A linus potato farm country album?
Is LTT going soft? While Linus brags they are "independent" media, I don't feel it anymore. There were many things to cover and still a very dull episode. The week where Intel not just embarrassed itself but also put a rude price on its embarrassment, where Jensen revealed a new AI supercomputer in Europe and Nvidia took over the No.1 reachest company, where Microsoft's Windows updates are buggy, confirming W11 is if not the worst Windows ever, and M365 ecosystem keeps bugging and creating problems for companies (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, broken synchronization with servers, security, etc.) when Meta is returning face scans. Will Linus' new iPhone also mark the start of the end for LTT? Eager to see…
i don't have much time to game i just mostly play single player because of it (i don't play heldivers etc tho)
linus saying he isnt responsible…
RGB PUKE FELLA!…
you pushing case lighting back in the day helped start it.

YEAH ITS YOUR FAULT!

Not Just Bikes is a great youtube channel promoting sustainable transit with great content <3
In Ur store can u sell 'build it Ur self pc' so I can buy everything and build it at home (make it affordable like 2 thousand AUD)
Because linus is responsible for congo.
he should totally gift the entirety of LMG and all the profits to congo.
Great move by the teacher tbh, half the challenge in teaching is getting students engaged, this probably opened up a good debate in the classroom, I highly doubt the teacher genuinely believes this to the full extent. Strikes me as just a good hook to get students involved.
His fiancé IS homeschooled?! 👀
Is genocide a jokes nowdays.
Norfolk is home to one of the biggest naval bases in the world 😅

Dont lett the "green" mindset influence a great thing. If we would intertain it, then we cannot do or buy antyhing. Even breathing makes co2…. When watching the WAN show, viewers breathe 10% less because its relaxing. Linus and Luke save the planet 😂
As someone who works at an Equinix IBX in the UK I can't wait to see what life in the Canadian IBX's is like 😅
Good job Linus. That video – another one I don't need to show to my friends, because none of them are interested in physics even remotely.
And you have to be at least a bit in order to understand how amazing that place is.
Equinix
56:00 No such thing as a good private equity firm. They only exist to extract value until they run the company into the ground.
LTT specialise in NEW and RENEW, job done👍🏿😉
This is awesome! Love from BC😆😆
You could always do better; it sure would be nice to see products made in north America, where most of your customer base is. Shoot, you can even get fabrics that are made in the US.
14:40 Plenty of people live in rural areas, and having a motor vehicle is the only way to get around. The fact is, human activity regardless of the product involves some level of destruction of the natural environment. In order to plant crops, or a garden, humans have to disturb the soil, remove weeds and grass that would choke out the crop or garden plant, and to sustain any sufficiently large population requires this to be large scale industrial farming. This means the mining for raw materials, smelting, production of gas and electricity. These people who complain all the time about how we are killing the planet, should just do the planet a favor then, and self-delete. The reality is that the people who are like this produce nothing of value, if they are principled.
The reality is this planet will be fine. Even if there is a climatic shift. Humans have survived climatic shifts, and the most recent evidence shows that even in the past, it has happened abruptly, completing within just a couple decades. And every so often an asteroid hit, or a super volcano blows and wipes out 90% of life. As Neil Degrass Tyson recently said, this planet is not perfect for life, as it does everything it can to kill off all life. From pandemic viruses to volcanic explosions to recurring ice ages, and recurring climatic shifts. This planet has been very much hotter, and the oceans very much higher. There are ancient maps showing an ice free Antartica. Every culture on the planet going back 10's of thousands of years have records of cataclysmic flooding, on every continent humans have built massive subterranean cities to house 10's of thousands of people including livestock and supplies. Clearly there was a cataclysm that required ancient civilizations to construct such structures. People have tried to attribute these things to religious myths, such as Noah and the Ark, but the reality is nature has been unforgivingly violent.
Smosh X Linus would be GREAT! Idk, Cards Against Humanity or something, IDK!
Should get a classic pinball machine. Anything from Microsoft Pinball Arcade. Maybe Humpty Dumpty by Gottlieb. Or knockout by Gottlieb. And mod it to have the same music as the game.
WTF MCM/LTT Collab? as in the crazy aussie car guys?
8:12 A very good possible mitigation to respond this question is…. Certify or make sure your suppliers are certified in B-Corp, ISO14001, Fair Trade, LEED, etc… Offer repair campaigns for your products and things like that. I think LTT is focused on quality and durability. But if your question is that if you could do better… You definitely can. And also with electronics… You know you can do better…And yes, not everything is going to be profitable, the planet doesn't know what "money" is.
Equinix in my city owns the old building of the Dutch bank just to build a datacenter in the basement in the former safe.
Just saw a 90 something inch tv at walmart (their own house brand) for like $1,500!!! 60 hz. NO WAY would I want that thing in my house.
Comment about too many sponsormerch reads: I understand it is used to push merch in exchange to ask questions and in theory is a really cool idea, but the WAN show has been consumed with at least half of it feeling like it's merch messages. I've watched WAN for what feels like since the beginning and the non-stop merch reads has me actually using the time stamp guy to skip a lot of the WAN these days whereas once upon a time, the WAN show was something I listened to throughout the weekend.
I understand as Luke said –tuning, but it's become too much and I've noticed many in live chat often reference WAN as QVC and they're not wrong. Let me add, I look forward to what new merch is coming each week as it seems to be a regular thing now, but far, far too many merch messages to a point news stories you planned to talk about get pushed and often forgotten leaving WAN less of a "crap I can't miss it" to a, meh it'll be ok.
Food for thought.
