Some of the Arc Battlemage B580 rumors are true! And if the performance is as good as Intel claims, a new budget champion could be crowned before the year is out.

Correction at 7:06: The 4060 delivers 24% less raster performance per dollar, and 20% less ray tracing performance per dollar than the B580- not 32% and 25% less, respectively. There's also some other nuances with regard to the percentages that we will fix. We will update the video as soon as possible.
Their timing is actually perfect
They are only catering towards budget gaming as long as their tech is not on par with the others
Will this hold up to the 5060?
What is with the video today??
AMD has gotten way too comfortable sitting there, price gauging to infinity asking astronomical money for basic 8 Gb GPU models while Nvidia now only cares about big AI corporate contracts.
My very first serious CPU was Intel 4770K, the glorious era before Intel decided to rest on it's laurels, I kney thst I was buying something special, innovative and breakthrough for it's time.
I sincerely hope that the new refreshed Intel will once again lead the way to innovation and bring smile to those who are enthusiastic about the future of PC ecosystem.
I waited years and years to upgtade from my old RX5600 and the conpany I least expected deliveted.

At minute 6:53 why did you guys add the word "Points" in the edit and it sounds different?
whats with this trash Segway
just plug your ad without being too cringy
I want to surprise my SO with a PC someday and I think Intel is the way I want to go with it
1:26 do it again
very good pot of greed ref. very good video. understanding of filmmaking basis such as sound before visual to make us 'ready' . 10/10 form.
But what will happen when nvidia releases 5060? I think it’s sooner than we expect
Promote door stop
that 250usd is still a 400+aud card……fml
Regarding intels ceo beong pushed put, do you think he got a golden handshake or golden parachute to be fired?
Silly LTT pot of greed is a magic card you activate it not summon it. I am going to have solemn judgment it though
Most important of all, let other people actually use it first to check how good the driver support is
my hype for a b770 announcement is growing very rapidly
Again, all these figures mean nothing if the drivers are not there. Intel is doing great so far with keeping up with popular games, but not so much with other applications and smaller game titles.
Intel really said, 'New CEO, new GPUs, who dis?'
I really hope they can succeed here, bc then it's likely the 3rd generation will be competitive at the mid to high end
Seems exciting. I'll be looking forward to the full review once Intel sends out samples. It's always good to have more competition in a segment than less and AMD and nVidia could always use some motivation to push their developers forward. I'm really hoping that these cards are as good as Intel is making them out to be. It would be nice to be able to buy an inexpensive machine with decent capabilities, particularly with regards to video transcoding, since that is what Arc has always been exceptional at.
I'm also hoping that we'll see something akin to the A770 out of the Battlemage series where it's their TOTL card with full memory bus lane usage, even more GPU compute units, and higher clock speeds. Given that they aren't launching it yet, it seems like Intel may have given up on that market with Battlemage, but only time will tell at these early days of announcements.
12 Gigs at most is very disappointing for local AI stuff, especially considering that the A770 had 16gb
Give me a single byte more than 16gb and I’ll buy it immediately
That is made up name?
Intel should focus solely on their gpu's. Their graphics cards are awesome pieces of engineering.
So, are these cards going to have the same odd wrapper stuff to work with older titles? I mean this is a great option if that stuff has been gotten sorted out.
8:58 🤣🤣
That YuGiOh reference was excellent
how much did they pay you
Please compare Linux gaming on Intel Arc, AMD, and Nvidia cards. Talk about driver issues as well. Windows recall is gross and I'm looking to leave.
I just want to know… How much, if any, improvement there is for x265 transcoding for my Plex server will be.
B570…? My A380 is a very good performer, but not quite as efficient as the latest RTX's I'm hopeful Intel will again be a price performer for hobbyists. 🤞
Intel's rough patch should be called "linus patch".
Yugioh fan?
The Arc Cards goes in a direction where I think These cards could be ultra sic laptop gpus. If they stay on this efficiny focus
Subtle foreshadowing in the segue
I summon pot of greed
but DEI it great i heard! meritocracy bad.
Gamers to Intel: Can it run Crysis?
Intel: *gets into financial crisis
Linus is more honestly excited and enthusiastic about new technology than any other tech channel on this platform, it's so refreshing. Also that segue was legendary
Intel Battlemage having AI-upscaling and AI-framegeneration, while still outcompeting Nvidia in price, proves, that Nvidia is still overcharging for their cards, even though they claim that "the extra DLSS-features" are worth paying extra for. Intel's video encoding is also better
Imo, the biggest drawback to Intel GPUs is ReBar support. I've managed to get an A380 to run on my Z840 but only with custom UEFI drivers and funkiness
Segue Edger
Pot of Greed lets you draw 2, not 3 smh
im weirdly optimistic about battlemage
