how is going back intuitive on iOS?! On Android you just swipe FROM EITHER SIDE, so works for both right and left handed people.
Honestly if these guys just paused for a couple seconds and thought about the problems they had with android theyd realise the solution very easily. Theres no was IOS is more intuitive it's genuinely too inconsistent across apps for that to be reality. They're just more used to it and thats okay
It's not cool you know. You call it a challenge as if it's very difficult and annoying thing to choose an android phone for everyday use. As a previous apple user, I enjoy my new android phone much much more.
As an Android user, I can testify the UI changes (every now and then), aren't really intuitive. Even I didn't know some "buttons" on some apps can be swiped. Buttons are meant to be pressed. Also, back swipes have the tendency to open side trays.
this video prooves to me that staying away from the apple ecosystem was a good thing. my whole life i always avoided using services that werent cross platform. i will only use something if i know that if i buy and entirely different device in the futurre i will still have all of my features that i paid for. im an android user now, but if i switched to and iphone now nothing would change for me. i guess that looking out for somehting like that just isnt something the average user does
Did nobody tell them about the three finger down swipe for screenshots? It's the easiest screenshot method there is, IMO.
switched to a s25 after 8 years with an iphone. tbh its like 80% iphone with android baked in. my only problem is quicksearch isnt quick its a swipe and a tap. its a little thing but its annoying.
I liked this video a lot.
Now do windows to linux
I have a similar situation with my work iPhone. At home I'm using a Google Pixel, but everytime I have to use my work phone (which is not a lot), I struggle on how to go back on apps, why the keyboard isn't showing numbers automatically when entering passwords, how to make the menu appear that I need. For me the iPhone just feels like a horrible design where everything feels like a chore compared to just doing a little swipe on one side of the screen. But that just shows that it is mostly about how much you are used to your ecosystem rather than how good it actually is.
seriously I would never say iPhone gestures are good. sorry but this felt weird to even hear. on android swiping from any side would go back thats it.
They have been brainwashed into thinking apple poor UI and design is actually the best way to do it.
Do they just forgot they have left hand when taking screenshot?
They should probably show these comments to all the 3 participants about what they thought it was and what it actually is. Most of the time, the problems they stated weren't even actual problems and they were just not informed about the device or UI enough to get through them.
YES!!!!!!! finally!!!!! Ok now that's done ….
1. The back button ummmm i switch between iPhone and Android every 3 years never had a problem
2. Great videos it was nice to see some try the folds
IOS is so unintuitive and gives you no options to change the way your phone behaves.
I use both major ecosystems on the daily and I pick samsung + windows.
I've used multiple generations of macbook pro + iPhone + airpods pro for work.
Also have s24U + buds pro 3 + tab s8+, galaxy book and Windows PC.
Macbook pro and airpods are the only good products that Apple make. Everything else is just power you cannot use, best iPhone, ipad chips but you won't be able to do shit on it that an iPhone 12 can't do.
To take screenshots with one hand, simply use your left hand to press the 2 buttons with your left pointer and middle finger…..
Pick any Millennials you have at your beckon call who are Apple users and tell them – try something different… wait, that was Jobs' slogan no?
Well made video, good target audience; but – may as well have taken money from Apple.
Weak engagement and weak responses.
Android gestures being unintuitive is the wildest take.
Wow. All I could hear was something like ''sreenshot is hard to make, so I will still buy 1k more expensive iphone''
Some of the problems mentioned have been solved by Xiaomi.
apple users, apple voters are special
