I am the founder of Music for New Kids. We help thousands of struggling children every year. We asked OBSBot for help with a project that would help many kids every years. We only needed a few cameras and they basically told us to get lost if we didn’t have a huge YouTube following. Not a good company! I would pass on supporting them!

Do you happen to know if this camera can perform the auto-tracking feature without installing the software… if it can be firmware activated so it starts whenever you plug it into a computer without installing the proprietary software? Thank you!

man the tracking on this camera is actually amazing. i wish the camera quality was just a smidge better, but it tracks really well.
Does this camera also allow for manual PTZ control? How about remote PTZ control by the far side in video conferences using Zoom or Microsoft Teams?

Is there a way to make to make this work with the BOYA microphone while using an iPad instead of a laptop? I've tried using a multiport adapter but had issues.

Just a quick note to anyone who buys one of these, don't plug it in to a USB 2.0 port. I did and my computer wouldn't even detect it properly, just kept disconnecting and reconnecting. Plug it into a blue usb 3.0 port and it should work correctly.

Video quality is awful for a 4K webcam, the colours look washout. I bought it, and I used it once. I am used to better cameras. The iMac M1 24 inches has a superior webcam and is 1080 only. If I compare OBSBOT with Logitech Brio 4K, the image quality looks like a cheap webcam. I won't sacrifice the video quality just because I can move. Instead, I bought the CamGo Telesin Smart Auto Camera Tracker and mount my Brio, which works great.

Linus, Q1: is this compatible with Google Meet and Zoom? and Q2: How's the audio, good for conference calls for a team of 5 or I should be looking at something else instead?
So first I'm a newbie, and I'm trying to figure out if this will work for me or is there a better solution on a modest budget? You said @ 6:10 headroom mode* is designed for tall users. But what I think and or the feature I want is best explained by the chef example @ 5:24 If I am moving around especially near to far as per the chef from the island to the stove, I don't want to disappear into the bottom half of the screen or cut my head off as I move in closer. My desire at this point is mostly about doing some random product reviews and how to' videos such as lawn equipment, appliance review/repair, auto accessories and repair type things.
So bottom line, I want to keep my head near the top of the picture as I move around which hopefully also keeps the object I'm discussing more in the field of view.
Btw NO GoPro! I have one and watching videos I or other people have made with a GoPro on their head literally gives me motion sickness

First of all great video. I was looking at this camera because I stream my doggo. I wanted something to track. Do you think it is possible?
few major Flaw in design
1 the remote it needs a USB port , it does not connect on Bluetooth , so that's 1 port wasted
2. for the remote to work , you have to start the obbot software , only then the remote works
3. When this remote software is up, it captures some keys for its shortcut so you can use keyboard while using this software
Looks like very poor design thought went in to this .. very important to tell this in review
