Today we are checking out the BIG BOY. The GOLIATH. THE UNIT!!! THE RAZER PRO CLICK V2 VERTICAL! A “gaming” mouse from RAZER that I convinced myself was suitable for competitive FPS (mistake). As most of the viewers of this channel will eventually succumb to wrist mobility issues at within the next 10 years, I decided to review a product that will be relevant to you now!

Dad can I get a G502 for Christmas?
Can you make a video for the mousepad la honda blitz the new one pls ???
2:49 Thank you for saying this. For the longest time, I always focues on what the trendy mice were because I thought they'd improve my grip for gaming. How wrong I was. I started choosing mice that just felt good, not only for gaming, but just felt good to use. As of now, I am using an x2h mini despite my medium-wide hands. Why? Because I don't have to extend my fingers out as much when gripping it, along with the very light weight. In the future, I'm probably going to buy a smaller vertical mouse because of this.
Keychron also just made a vertical gaming mouse that's a good bit lighter. Maybe check that one out, too?
I“m assuming you have a cat that loves to attack your hand
review keychron m5, Hansker Performance. those two are the only other vertical mice with a good sensor
Iām a competitive fps vertical mouse gamer, idk man after the apocalypse of 2020, my tendons have not been the same, iāve been rocking Logiās mx vertical for years now and iāve got to Diamond in Overwatch, Gold 1 in Siege, and my biggest gripe with it IS THE PINKY FINGER, having to adjust the grip for that(plus weight) almost gave me a new type of RSI(repetitive strain injury).
Razer has seemed to address this and just because of they have finally allowed my PINKY TO HAVE SOME REST! iāll give this one a try, just my 2 cents
Didn't we go through a decade of weight reduction on regular gaming mice? What happened to all that knowledge and why isn't it implemented into vertical mice like this?
Tell your cat to chill out damn
2:24 why you have so many cuts/scratches on your hand?
4:50 the sensor rotation thing is a serious issue with a lot of vertical mice. When you hold a vertical mouse, it turns in some compared to where the front and back would be if you just looked at it. This is because we don't turn our hand out when holding it, we keep our wrist straight, which turns the mouse in some. The Zelotes C-18 actually accounts for this and is great. I've tried other verticals as well, Seenda, Logitech, and they all have the sensor issue where naturally moving up and down will actually give you a line rotated about -10° or so left of above the vertical
Actually promotes less ergonomics because to line the sensor up properly, you would have to flare your wrist outward, not a natural or comfortable position to hold
Reach out to Optimum please. He's the type of guy to design and 3d print his own chassis already, he's made his own mice multiple times. If you could convince him to have a crack it could be a very interesting project.
As someone who has used a vertical mouse for years, the main issues with vertical mice for gaming is the cheap crappy sensors and fingertip control. This mouse (almost) solves the sensor. It's dramatically better for your arm ergonomics, they help avoid tendonitis, and they're more comfortable to hold. Plus the necessary palm-grip shape forces you to move from the shoulder more, which takes practice, but is better in the long term. The trouble is that because the shape tends to reinforce a palm-grip it makes fingertip adjustments very hard. The sideways oriented buttons mean that any pressure applied with the index or middle finger will click a button, but your ring and pinky fingers are in the same plane of movement so it's difficult to keep your other fingers from pressing while adjusting with fingertips. I suspect guitar and piano players might get used to this more easily, considering the emphasis on finger independence.
The fact that nearly every other vertical mouse has a cheap crappy sensor in it makes them all useless for games with any fast pace. The fact that they rotated the sensor in this one is such an incredible error in judgment.
I'm still waiting for the day we get a decent sensor in a light weight vertical mouse with a wide base and a ~45-60° angle. When the angle is too high miss clicks become a huge problem, so a slightly lower angle and lighter weight makes fingertip adjustments slightly more doable. As-is I'll keep gaming with my Viper mini, and when my wrist gets sore, I'll have to keep switching to a gamepad. š«¤
At least the try different stuff. My favorite mouse for almost a decade was the logitech g600, a ergo mmo mouse that is discontinued. Setteled on the razer naga x, its very comfortable with the finger rest, wish more companies would go that route.
I tried gaming by using vertical ones before, its hard to execute aims when the pressure point is sideways š
But its good for longer periods in my work
not very good role play, you forgot to say "i am disappointed in you."
If it was a little less bulky, a lot lighter weight and a few more buttons it would be great.
im intrigue really especially for a long mmo session
120$!! HELL NAH
V3 Pro uses Focus 35k, V2 pro uses the same sensor as this vertical mouse. So yeah, a small mistake in the video but who cares, both sensors are flawless.
bro fuck the mouse are you okay ? i can see cuts in your hands
I cannot recall any review on any product that articulated an issue as well as you did when talking about making micro adjustments at the 6:15 mark. The way you explained it is extremely helpful in deciding if I wanted to buy this or not. And I think I do but only use it for ARPG and work. Thanks!
6:20 this part is really good analysis.
I hate that horizontal movements are at an angle and that it's hard to make fine adjustments because the sensor placement is so low.
I always say to people that you want to aim like you're holding a pen, at the tip of your fingers.
I wish the Basilisk Mobile had that kind of quality… the textured side grip is slippery af and for some reason the sensor has a lower placement than what I'm used to… yet I still find it a fun mouse to use after increasing the DPI a bit, but Orochi v2 shape is still the goat for my hands/grip style
Instead of saying "Thanks dad" I would say "Ok unc" cuz I cant see the dad. Only unc
omgosh is that some gameplay footage?! š®š® dno if its just me, but seeing gameplay adds more to this review
sir : razer deathadder elite vs logitech g502 hero how is the best
with tears uncontrollably falling from my eyes i love you too, father of mine
Vertical mouses are good in theory, but I feel like the angle is way too aggressive. When you place your hand/arm on a table in a relaxed state, you still have it somewhat flat but instead of full flat, you have in an 20-25° angle. That would be the perfect verticality for a mouse. it would also mean, that you could have something that you tuck your thumb under, so you have a natural way of supporting the mouse, while also having the friction of the mousepad on the side of your palm instead of the full side which is not really made for friction heavy use. If companies would actually put some real thought into the whole thing and not scare away of change, I'm sure there would be something way more optimal than what we currently have. After all the mouse design never really changed since the beginning and I doubt that this is even close to an optimal design.
This mouse make me think on cars… The regular gaming mouse is the sport uncomfortable car, and this is a SUV that someone made an engine swap and made you think that it will give you "the best of both worlds". Plot twist: It doesn't, just buy two cars… One for each purpose. (yes, I'm in America) šŗšøš¦
Hey diamondlobbyreviews, I got a viper v3 pro and I noticed that it has a slightly different sound when scrolling down from scrolling up. It sounds a little more scratchy, but other than that the mouse is fine. Is that normal?
Wouldn't RawAccel (and XMouseButtonControl) be liable to get you flagged by an anticheat engine?
everything i see looks terrible honestly
I like the Chain āļø tattoo, BioShock?
Omg, I love you too dad! Can't wait until MY hair falls off! ā¤
let the ai aim for u
5:29. Thanks, this had me chuckling like a psychopath in my kitchen for a solid minute.
I see this more as a productivity focused mouse that is good for casual gaming, just like the G502X and razer basilisk
Adding to the chorus of Keychron M5 suggestions. The sensor placement really is fantastic.
i love you too dad
So they solved "an issue" but added a new one.(i mean sensor pos) Seems typical nowdays in tech, otherthan that it's a W.
Finally feels like I achieved something with my life at 1:53
2:42 hes dead, pretty bad impersonation
sensor rotation slider should be mandatory in every gaming mouse software. i don't understand how razer are the only ones doing it and then only for a selective few mice. (i think pulsar are working on it too)
Could you compare it with the keychron m5?
