Running 9800x3d, and 9070xt (both CPU and GPU are water cooled) my GPU hardly reaches over 40c. Wish I waited for the 9950x3d though since I edit and would have been nice to have but 9800x3d gets the job done. I will say I know tubes down is supposed to be better for the RAD in the way you are using it but it looks so god awful because the tubes are never long enough to go up and over the GPU, would have been nice to see it with tubes up, Nexus and other tubers have even shown that it is not a huge deal with the tubes up.

I do NOT like the case, this would have been a nicer build if you used an ASUS AP202 case !

In the US we have a computer store called Microcenter and they usually have "open Box" items at a discounted price. I managed to get a 9100 2tb for like $130 US dollars. It works so well for loading up programs and rendering.

The AIO tubes should actually be higher than the pump to prevent noise and air bubbles.
Sitting on a 3080 and reaaaaaaaally tempted to get a 9070xt. Fighting tooth and nail to at least wait until next gen announcements. I intend the next gpu I buy to be something long term and would like above 16gb of vram if I can help it.

Wouldn't you want the CPU to be at the lowest point from your AIO cooler incase of futur AIO cooling evaporation and air bubbles which could really impact performance? Other than that pretty nice build! But I got to say I get a bit triggered with that AOI placement.
i have a Gigabyte 9070XT OC paired with the 9800x3d. Awesome pair, I benchmarked a lot but I would like to suggest to not enable x3d game mode on if you are multitasking and doing a lot of web browsing to be fair, you are better off overclocking your GPU for a real performance upgrade. The 9800x3d itself is already overkill even for a RTX5090. Ryzen6 CPU will be compatible if you want to upgrade but I really suggest you to spend on the best GPU you can! 9070XT is just what seems to be the best for performance/$.

OK, the ultimate AMD gaming build! I just read Ultimate games build first and reacted over pairing a 9950X3D with a 9070XT. I thought I was silly building with a 9800X3D and a 9070XT, but that's basically a simple budget build compared to this one. But if you want to make a computer that isn't just a gaming PC but can handle ridiculous amounts of real work then the 9950X3D is the way to go.

I absolutely hate that the taichi uses the 12v connector. Completely unnecessary and the other premium 9070xt options that also have the slightly higher power draw don’t use it.

Can you Crossfire X the GPU like 2 gpu, like back in those days where you can hook up 2 GPU
The 9070xt is now faster than 5070 ti because of fine wine it used to be 5 percent slower but now it's 5 percent faster.
Same thing for nvidia soon?
Vertical mounted GPU would have fixed this build.. cable wouldn't have been an issue, tubes would have had more room instead of strung over GPU.. Feel like there was a lot of wasted potential

i have a asrock steel legend 9070 xt and im switching to a rtx 5080 because of constant black screens while playing games and idk how to fix it ive tried all possible ways to fix it and its to no prevail i love the card but the black screen is forcing me to switch but if someone or you can help me fix it i can return the 5080 and stick with the 9070 xt

I paired my 9800X3D with a 5070ti and 64GB ram. Works just fine.
I have Aorus Master x870e and 9800x3d and T-Force ram at 7200mhz cl34 rm1000x power supply and Suprim x 3090 but was thinking of upgrading to 9070xt to finish off my new build 🤔👍
