I can't see myself going back to LCD. OLED is just….from the image color, its dark/clarity…its just too good.
I can see competetive people maybe trying to get that edge…but its oled or no led.

I like my asus Rog strix 500hz OLED I play with a 5080 9800 X3D and granted I don’t need 500 Hz but where it comes in handy is the times that I don’t or can’t hit 500 Hz a.k.a. outside of competitive games I can cut the frame rate and half to 240 and run the anti-flicker black frame insertion technology and it’s amazing.. PS I think the new tandem OLED’s are downgrades from QD OLED , just looks so much nicer and more vibrant colors plus I can’t stand that stupid Matte finish..
Can't go back to IPS after having my LG C2 42" .

Even tho Gsync Pulsar is an impressive Technologie I would go Oled any day. True Blacks and Perfect Colors are too good to pass on
I think for esport shooters (valorant, CS2 etc.) IPS is still very good.
I would pick OLED over this anyday.. I like contrast and my gameplay ambitions slowed way down over the years.
I am still on a 4k 144hz IPS.. but I plan to switch this or next year with the new wOLED 27 inch 4k panels hitting the market in 26.

Losing good HDR and good brightness, all for maybe the most unnoticeable difference in motion clarity to OLED and it'll cost more. No thanks… title says vs oled, and I wonder why there's no comparison… maybe cause it's either the same or worse in clarity to OLED and now adays will cost more than OLED lol. All to make some money through an affiliate link.
