My 4070ti died and I had to buy a used RX 580 8GB, it actually holds up pretty well. Still managing to play Arc Raiders thanks to FSR!

I personally build my old gaming hardware together again, for a Debian server. I saw how you put thermal paste on it, I on the other hand have my own style all the time.
I squeeze a little ball on it, tapping the syringe tip all over, so long that every where is a liiiittle bit paste, so if pressure of the cooler comes on, all the paste is already relatively flat and everywhere. 🙂
It's a shit show. Those tariffs were put in place to protect local manufacturers but yet all of those went under. The tariffs and taxes of course didn't go away. (Taxes never do – to this day the Germans pay a luxury tax on bubbly wine products like champagne to fund the imperial Kriegsmarine. Last time I checked the Kaiser, Reich, the other Reich, the battleships and the Kriegsmarine were gone but not the tax).

I used to but the RX580 in the budget PC's I built for my friends. That card surprised me with it's performance for the price when it was new.

I have cancelled all of my American subscriptions.. Microsoft, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime etc. only keeping apple cause I „have“ to and YouTube premium because there are no real alternatives.
