I saw somewhere that there would be no App Store support and I was like screw that. I was really hoping to get Scanner Radio on there. It’s an app that you can listen to police, EMS, and fire. I like to listen to Pittsfield public safety at night..
Apple was too late to the party on this one. Nobody really cares about devices like this anymore.
On a random day when you least expect it Apple just releases something like they forgot to mention it
I was hoping they actually use the design of the old iMac with swivel motorized arm…this is just lazy for Apple.

I've literally been recycling my older iPads into this universally family and friends device around the house , and guess what none of them need to be continuously wired in and locked into one position.
The bezels must be an excuse to keep upgrading.

Yeah this thing is getting discontinued after 2-3 yrs from release.
A device with little practical value. Suppose you have it sitting in or on a cabinet because you can't use it in the middle of your room; then you have to stand or bend down every time to operate it or talk on FaceTime. Does it also have an Apple Store through third-party software? Everything I would do with it, I can also do via my iPhone or with Siri on my HomePods.

Bezels looks ridiculous. This is flop after so many years of waiting they released this ? Plus for wall mounted you have to pay for mount on top of that you loosing speaker and price is same. WTH Apple ?! This looks terrible
