Nest Doorbell Wired review coming soonā¦ donāt miss it!
If you havenāt noticedā¦ September and October are basically nonstop smart home announcements and new product reviews. š Ā BUT I promise I have some good automations videos in the works that Iām excited to share. Thanks for sticking with the channel through this crazy time!
I assume that this means you can have 'auto live view' on any brand of doorbell… triggered by a routine when doorbell is pressed, stream to google hub…
How to get the nest doorbell camera to display on tv when the doorbell is ringed?
Is it possible to create routines with ntf tag on Google home? There isn't any YouTube videos related to that….
But Google does detect glass breaking
My google home app isnāt updated
Whereād You get that Batman light from?

When Google said "that glass breaking is probably humans throwing Echo devices out the window from all the ads you feed them" it hit me so hard š all those ads man!
The Google – Alexa battles are hilarious!
I don't have to wait for the new Google app to get sensors to trigger routines. My WeMo sensors trigger WeMo plugs which in-turn trigger Google routines. VERY EXCITING. š¤Æ
Which smart sensor should I buy for Google home?
I genuinely believe Amazon over time will surpass Google despite the gigantic advantage they have. I will not be investing in Google devices anymore.
Hi Bro, i like to watch yr video, i intent to smart my new 47sqm home, for now i only get kl50 smart bulb.
May i know what items to get to make it smart?
To control lights, air con, ceiling fans, tv, curtains etc any advice from u?
Just a correction on wifi 6e, it uses all 3 bands. 2.4, 5, and 6ghz, not just 6. This gives devices faster speed because it limits interference but it can also provide a little bit more top end speed closer to the router
matter baby?
matter baby??
wha..wha..what's a matter baby??
(sorry I'll see myself out now)
About time with the motion sensor to trigger a routine!
Lol actually Google copy pasting Home Assistant OS
How do we get the new Google home app? I don't see it in the app store.
My only frustration with the new wired doorbell is that they did not there is no sdm api support to add directly to Home Assistant.
Google assistant has had glass break detection for a couple of years now.
Hi šš
Iām going to change my nest hello doorbell to this new version. Will this be compatible with Alexa?? Heard the new camera will work with Alexa so if the door goes you will get notifications on the echo shows
Is this right?? Iām in the UK so this update may only be available in US???
Google still can't do computer wake on lan. Can't they integrate the app Wake On Lan by Mike Webb?
But Google does have glass breaking feature
Do Aqara motion sensors work with the new Google automation triggers?
Still on the Google ecosystem, so this is nice to hear. It's definitely felt abandoned the last couple years. My biggest wish for them is to let us change the wake word or phrase. "Hey Google" is mouthful for someone who mumbles too much lol
Started playing with the new automation options in the home app, and found they are still mostly useless.
For example, the google nest learning thermostat, measures, temperature, humidity, and has motion sensing built in. Yet the Google triggers for this device are only based on its state( ie heat, cool, heat/cool, off) . What huge missed opportunity. Also I have a Tuya vibration sensor that only gives me the trigger state as home or away, totally useless.
Once again, google over promises and under delivers on routines /automations.
I wouldn't hold your breath on them ever getting this right for mass market which will mean automation will remain the niche domain of tinkerer's/programmers only .
PSA: The new nest doorbell doesn't work with the Nest app. Google has single handedly killed the nest brand with their close garden approach to third party integrations, completely inept decision making with their product launches (original nest wifi Wifi just launched less than 2 years ago without wifi 6), and forcing users to use Google products/apps/services rather than leaving everything alone to work within the Nest ecosystem. Google has put nearly zero effort into innovation or feature development over the past several years since their acquisition. I will not be investing in a single one of these devices and avoiding their ecosystem going forward.
Save your money. Customer support for the Google doorbell is a nightmare.
Really enjoying your videos! Did Google add an NFC tag starter to the new Home app?
Does the Nest Wifi Pro support the Homekit secure feature?
personally, I would be very cautious about relying on google for keeping their smart home hardware/software/functionality available. they are notorious for discontinuing products, and I personally stay away from their routines to avoid any headaches.
Lmaoo not the end glass breaking part š
I honestly just don't know what other Google stuff to add aside from cameras. I have Atleast 1 of all there nest devices. I don't need the Google hub or hub max…
I dont have the Home app with all these futures ? is it a new app or the normal Home app ? Maybe its on the way
Anything on being able to stream my nest cameras from my Chromecast device? I was disappointed this wasnāt a feature as I highly expected it was naturally a feature. I enjoy the security screening sent to my phone but Iād prefer to have some notifications on the tv when im not on or around my phone.
