Bruh i started learning game development on real engine and i made flappy bird from scratch without any assets in 8 hours i used adobe animate and illustrator and real engine to create the game it wasn't bad at all but it didn't have sounds so..

I think YoYoGames GameMaker Studio 2 is better for creating games when not used to programming. That would have been nice to see 🙂

I attended a 48 hour game jam once as part of a team of 4! We were all very inexperienced but at the end we did have a playable 2D game slapped together, gotta say, 48 hours seems like a lot of time for such a project at first but we barely finished it on time lol

Linus Tech — 3D Tower Arena… a (WiFi/HTML5) multi-player game like Pac-Man and Quake 2 combined… in which the first to score 100 points wins. Would be quite interesting to see how that would turn out
Im learning an engine called godot to make games, might be difficult as i cant afford more than my chromebook (i also have my school one) but thankfully my home one allows me to install linux so I can do a few things

Nice to see a gamedev video on LTT 🙂 You can use circle (or sphere) colliders for the saws, then you wouldn't have the collider inaccuracy problems.

7:26 Yeah, but extreme or excessive screen shake, and especially during cinematics, is a dead giveaway that the game, or at least this part of the game, is incredibly boring. Over-compensation that gives away that you spent near zero time refining 'realism' in that moment, and decided to go with camera shake instead to 'pretty' the game. 'Some' screen shake or sway, with clear work to make it feel like actual first person reactions, is good. Shows love. Random screen shake or random sway shows you don't even care.
im a gamedev but that was the most squeezed out video i've seen from LMG
