They are looking for easy targets like a jewelry box, drawers, and other places they think the good stuff is. A very determined burglar can even remove a safe bolted to the floor! Why even mess with that?
We have found hiding your valuables in plain sight (so to speak) has been working against criminals for hundreds of years ! A diversion safe is the way to go. Valuables can be simply put inside these decoys and kept safely, even if your taking a trip.
One of my favorites is the Hanger Safe. Since it’s used to hold up a jacket, shirt or sweater, you can place it right in your closet and it blends in perfectly with your wardrobe. Important note make sure you remember where you put it or you might even not find it.
What you need
1. Two cheap tubes and connector
2. Caps for the end of the tubes
3. Old hanger to get the hook off
4. Something to put the hook on your hanger safe (hot glue etc)
5. Optional of course..your secret valuables ( whatever they may be) .

The joke is on the idiots who think this is actually a half decent idea. What moron is going to ignore the obviously enormous, crudely made hanger when robbing a place? If anything, they'll take it because it's interesting, and it looks like it's hiding something.
The best protection this offers it from the drug fuelled robberies, and snatch and run guys, who are mainly after electronics and easy to reach cash. This is just dumb.

is as follows, if a guy walks into my house and ask for my stuff, I pick up the safe, hold it out to him, and then hit him as hard as I can.

But how do you get your stuff out? Because i've tried it and it went ok but i wanted to get my money out but it got stuck so i got a saw and i cuted it in half so that i could get my stuff out
with all of the videos on how to hide stuff a person who was going to rob your house would know the hiding places.

hot glue would never hold that up. obvi just drill a small hole and screw the hanger into it.or… heres a though.. just put the valuables in the clothes hanging on the hanger. duh.
