Do you think you will have a robot in your home in the next few years?
Does anyone know how to have the amazon thermostat turn off when I open a window with a ring sensor
Just got an astro, I really like it
Where did you buy i want one please where to have it
Crapping on dogs seems like a weird way to appeal to non-muslim customers(?).
No way I’m buying an Amazon 360 degree camera to follow me around my house I don’t care how much they say “every house will have a robot” cause I won’t be one of them
I'm actually building my own little astro lol it's really not that hard the only challenging part is just figuring out what features to implement and then actually setting it up in the program and then figuring out how to improve it lol
But the rest is honestly much simpler like 3D printing a shell/body and using something like your own built piPad as the display/face/eyes and building a little remote control "car" to place it on top of is also not that hard but again the hard part is actually getting it to all work together BUT if you really want it to work you'll absolutely figure it out no problem
You would think doing smart features like understanding language and voice training and facial recognition and speech recognition or even maneuvering through your home etc. But it's a lot easier than you would have imagined with deep learning for that all you really need is a computer with a powerful enough gpu and cpu to handle the learning (the stronger the hardware the faster the learning goes) and then you take that info and BAM your ai is now smarter 🙌 (once you really know what you're doing I'm sure you could get it to learn as it goes)
Just to give an example I honestly don't even know how to code or know any languages but I saw that astro and thing a little while back and just started looking up how to make my own and now I have a little ai that can recognize my face with nearly flawless accuracy (of course the quality of the camera matters too) and automatically open doors and lock them and it can also control my smart bulbs and TV and play Spotify or anything on YouTube AND it sounds exactly like me with a little bit of a robotic accent but I mean come on Idk what I'm doing so that's pretty damn impressive id say 😂 I'm hoping to add object detection too and then figure out a way to get it moving around irl instead of just a program in a computer lol
So yea literally anyone can get started on something like that
I wish Google does something similar. Amazon doesn't work quite well in my country or in the ME for that matter
i bet that robot is going to use its ai and camera to constantly record your house to recommend new products that you don't have or they want you to upgrade
Tbh most of this is not necessarily needed, most of it is expensive and really offers little practical help, it's primary function is to sell you more shit that you don't need 🤷🏻♂️
The flying robot is infinitely more practical than the rolling robot.
Like the video, don't like the content. Amazon seem to be trying to fill nonexistent holes in the said tech market.
The Echo Show tablet looks interesting, but what I use most in my kitchen is Paprika, where I keep all my recipes. The last time I checked, Echo Show won't allow apps such as Paprika, so it's useless to me right now. I use an iPad in the kitchen to see recipes, so Show will have to do that if it wants to claim that bit of countertop real estate.
What ever happened to the ring you wear on you finger that can access Alexa ect. ? Did its release get cancelled?
£1500 for some dammed thing to follow you around,Where i come from its called Stalking,Some people have to much money mate,
Absolutely every item in the list is nothing more than a useless gimmick for people with actual lives.
bet everything has a camera so they can watch us and better figure out how to control us
I have only two words – Ashley Too
I think the Smart Air Quality Monitor they announced is the best, especially when working with an air purifier.
I have 5 different level in my home. Bot will stay outside from my home.
Pointless here in the UK
That robot sounds like Danielle Defoe from YT channel Animalogic
I don’t know . . . .too many of these systems each with their own ip, sounds like an opportunity for those black hats to tap in somewhere making you and your family vulnerable. I like technology, I’m just not smart enough to outsmart hackers.
Why would I spend 1500 on a remote control car with an Alexa strapped to it? Also, I have these things in my house called door and steps. Back to the drawing board Amazon
I hope the UI for the echo show 15 is brought down to the echo show 10. I feel like it’s not being used to its full advantage with that size of the screen.
Funny ending!
Not me hearing 'the hell subscription' at 5:32
Does echo show 15 comes with a battery?
this has to be one of the most ridiculous gadgets ever hyped.
🤣🤣🤣
Let’s pay a company for devices to gather information and advertise to us!
👉🏼🧠🐑
id rather use wyze cameras then pay for ring
I am always looking forward to the newest Amazon smart speakers. With Mediatek chipsets, the smart speakers always bring some new features.
4:05 it will depend on how good its protections are if it has weak encryption and can be hacked by a two year old im not going to want this thing plodding around my home.
This crap is for the sheep
Not yet in Malaysia 😔😔😔
The way to get people into the robots is by hating people's pets? Yeah. Probably not the best marketing strategy. lmao.
