Wow. Household Hacker Traveler. I looked up to this guy like my cool internet big brother. Weird seeing him now that I am probably older than he was at the time.
He has a pleasant, calming presence. I wish the videos made by my favorite 'tubers now were this chill.
It was so nice that he made the video that introduced me to Minecraft. It's hard to overstate how much that transformed my life as a lonely 10 year old.
I played the Alpha in browser and couldn't believe it, I needed to have the full version. I anxiously begged my mom to get it for me and explained why it was so cool.
She obliged and this game became everything to me, my first real passion in life. Never before had I had something that tugged at my heart like that and totally consumed my thoughts.
There will never be another Minecraft. This video represents a moment and an era that I treasure. I will always have that to reflect on and be grateful for. It's a reminder that I have to try my hardest to remain curious, creative, and social. That's what life is about. I hate that I'm crying, why am I crying about this? Ugh. I love you all.
if anyone is reading this. it is probably because this was also your introduction to the absolute monolith this game ended up becoming. what a wild ride it has been.

When this video first came out, I thought, "Hmm, this looks like it could be interesting, I'll give it a try." And I became hooked. A few days later, I bought the game, which was still in Alpha at the time. About two and a half years later, I still love it.
i started playing so many games from here. Including minecraft. I remember telling people about it before anyone had heard of it., now its just another (awesome) part of our society
