There are plenty of silicon ice cubes out there now, you can put those in the chill o matic and use those instead of standard ice cubes because they won't melt into a liquid they keep their shape and simply lose the temperature to the can.

took 9 minutes for the expensive one to do 6 cans and most likely takes around 6 – 7 minutes to do the same with the cheaper devise.

Your “hack” took too long. Just get a tub of salty ice water. Use suction cup and the power drill. Spin from top.

Who in their right mind would really make one of these? If I was to ever use a drill, suction cup, Tupperware, etc to chill a drink and someone found out, knock me in the head and toss me off a bridge! I couldn't bear the humility!
