Some of our FP members have provided us with a couple workarounds for some of these and we wanted to address the certificate expiry. This does help protect against malware, but it shouldn't expire.
You can use a registry edit to disable online search if you're comfortable doing so.
You can still make offline accounts by removing your internet connection after you reach the account creation page, go back and open that page again, then once it's created reconnect your internet.
Another alternative is to type in only one letter when asked for your email and password, apparently the setup will prompt you that something went wrong and you'll then be able to make an offline account.
How about the lack of support for NIC teaming? I have an Intel X540-T2 and Intel told me there will be no support for advanced network configurations, like NIC teaming in Windows 11.

I started getting a memory leak about a month after I "upgraded" and the problem still hasn't been fixed. I have to restart the system every other day.

I used RUFUS to add W11 to my old PC alongside W10, and find l select W11 more and more. There differences, but overall W11 has a cleaner fresh look. l spend most of my time in Libre Office, Edge, Netflix and YouTube. All good.

I know this video was ages ago but even now … has the explorer pop up and hide my desktop then disappear at like 10Hz, I couldn’t do a thing.
Every time I restart my PC it throws the Windows 11 appeals to me and I have to squint to look for the "continue with Windows 10" blue text on the white button background, then I still get ANOTHER hard-sell frame after that and I have to be even more careful not to click on the wrong place and start the "install in the background" trickery. Then I watch a few of these vids on how much of a hassle W 11 is and I'm thankful I manage to avoid it!
Windows is what happens when you have a bunch of morons trying to improve things that were already good only to make them worse.

Every time my Windows 11 updated, it caused a lot of issues. I had to spend a day trying to uninstall and reinstall. I thought technology supposed to get better over time and not worst. I am just so frustrated that I want to smash my Dell laptop and destroy this dang Windows 11 with it.
Honestly. I am currently struggling to find a driver to have a working camera on my win 11 pro gaming laptop. Anyone else have the same issue? How do I fix this issue?
I got windows 11 "early" what I did was just change the windows 10 url to say 11 and it works for some reason back then when you searched windows 11 nothing came up sooo… I guess I got it early.

Yeah windows 11 search feature sucks. You search for a document you typed and WIndows 11 thinks you want to go on the internet and search for it. Complete idiots.
In Windows 10 you right click the task bar and uncheck -search highlights.

Windows 12 – released in 2024 for the upcoming successor operating system to Windows 11 codenamed Next Valley. Microsoft plans to release new Windows every 3 to 4 years. When do you think? Personally I find it heavy and I'm on his arrange with Intel to sell more new pc.

Every new Windows is a bigger piece of crap than the previous one. I only get the new one because they force me to do so.
There was never a major need to create a new OS design (11), each windows 8.1 or 10 'major update' was always a new OS revamp. They could have concentrated on fixing security issues, adding more customisation to keep users happy, and reducing the amount of bloated features many won't use that do little but kill off third party competition

Lol I have never wanted to search the internet while searching my files. Not on my Mac or PC. I suspect someone may have created a browser or search engine or something for that.

It's been more than a year since this video was released. Yup windows 11 is still messing up everything, driver incompatibility error, downgrade, bluescreen, etc. I was fed up today and restored my Aorus 15P YD laptop back to windows 10.
I have no idea how MS is still a software company.
Why dont they sell Windows to an actual software development team, instead of the kindergarteners and raccons that are currently developing for it.
The fact they themselves completely mess up HDR implementation when it would be better if they had done nothing about it says it all.
They are seeking for a worse experience for the end user.
I'm still using Win 8.1, but being warned about upgrading (Chrome as well), but I've heard from a computer person to leave 11 alone for a couple of years until they work out the bugs
