Motors on EV's don't really require much cooling…like the battery pack does require thermal management or you get a fire sale?

It is surprising to me that so many comments think the price is high. ICE boats of the same speed and luxury cost the same or more to buy, and more to operate.
I look at this and wonder how long before pleasure boats are not allowed to haul thousands of gallons of toxic fuel into public waters! Consider what taxes and insurance will cost when environmental damage must be covered.
A bit expensive? Are you kidding? With luxury tax, this is toy for the super rich or those that are impulsive with their investments.

With the economy the way it is, there will be lots of normal boats for sale competing against it. Not a good time to come out with a super expensive boat.
Sorry, there are many faster, longer range boats you can actually buy today.
Too bad fast charging at the docks costs the same as refueling petrol. Might as well have a smaller battery and a petrol range extender. But I love the efficiency. It means the running costs will be much lower than that of an equivalent planing boat (which is prohibitively expensive to run for normal people).
