Bro your desk cable management is … hideous.
You definitely don't need to spend $80 on a cable. I bought this one from Amazon "Anker USB C Cable, Powerline USB 3.0 to USB C Charger Cable (10ft)" for $15.
Ya I know but the old PSVR is still less hassle than modded Skyrim on Steam. You had better get on the ball too because with AI modded games and AI D&D homebrew we will need a VR experience that is plug and play and not a bunch of crazy figuring crap out and useless battery life. It would have been better if that head set took AAA batteries 😄I need my DM in a VR headset leading me in a VR dungeon of his or my design not idiot pay to play puke junk. Look I need you VR dweebs to get on the stick and stop with the tippy toe money grab idotness. Come on I am not getting any younger yet but I hear they may have a pill for it in the future.

Is quest WiFi 6 or 6E?
Virtual Desktop is for wireless connections the better option. Not only most games run without any problems, you can also connect more then one PC to it and switch between those PC's. Not possible with airlink.
For the most optimal connection to Air Link, you want a WiFi 6 router and have your Quest connected to its 5GHz network. Make sure no other devices are using the same network, just switch them over to the 2.4GHz band. Preferably, have the router in the same room or at least nearby, the fewer the obstacles, the more stable the connection.
Side note: the app called Virtual Desktop tends to perform and look better than Air Link so I highly recommend buying it if you're not happy with the image quality. It's also better at controlling your computer as the name implies. Important note: VD is also how you can play the Steam version of VRChat wirelessly. You have to use Air Link/Oculus Link to play the Rift version of VRChat.
I need this so I can stay inside but still feel like I’m somewhere else especially during carbon lockdowns 🙂
