The Galaxy A53 5G’s large screen, high refresh rate, versatile camera and long battery life make it a great value at $450. Yet there are moments when its price shows, such as when the software occasionally lags or the screen becomes harder to see in bright sunlight. But overall, the Galaxy A53 5G gets a thumbs-up for the balance of features it offers for the price.

Yes it is!
My wife and I just got the A53 5G phones. 1/2023. Our phones only have one speaker. No steroids, unless you use earbuds/headphones. If I really want to take photos or videos, I'll use a real ca.era, which has many more features and options than a cellphone will have. My Galaxy S8+ is very similar to this new A53 5G. The display sharpness and colors are basically the same. When you compare a $900 S22 vs a $450 A53, yes their is a difference. Duh!
All in all, I really like this phone. Plus it took my micro sd card.
I just wanted to chime in. Thanks.
I like it. It’s old school but the brightness of the screen sucks.
Imagine comparing a $400 to a $1000 phone…people like her shouldn’t be reviewing phones
This on sale will make a great MP3 player, so I don't have to pull out my more expensive phone when I'm jogging.
Great phone never spend 1k on a phone when you can buy a pc. And don't get the apple wireless ear pods when you can plug in some badass headphones. Think for yourself don't do what everyone else is doing.
This designed phone A 53 has one big disadvantage I hate. compared to my old J3. To wake the new phone you have to go up the side of the phone to the power button to wake up phone,,, on the J3 there is a simple button at bottom middle which you can do easily no matter where you are in relative relation to phone . On The A53 you basically have to pick up the phone for this. a step down for a phone that costs at least 4X as much as the previous referred to phone.
Boost Mobile has this Phone for sale at 200
Awesome
I just brought this phone
Love, you forgot to attach the camera pixels!!
NFC?
I want that phone but I have seen comments from people who are from the Tmobile company that the cell phone does not work well for them. Even when I was about to buy it Online from Samsung it says that 5g networks with Tmobile may not be able to work. Will there be someone from PR or EU or with knowledge that can guide me?
whole video spent comparing to other phones I don't know nor care about. Dont give relative brightness comparisons, for example, tell me how many nits brightness it has, then add on nits of other models if you want for context. Really unhelpful video for those who aren't phone enthusiasts, like most of the A53 target customers I'd wager.
didnt watch the fulll video BT THANK YOU BEYOND BEYOND
A nice review in good ,clear English.
Looks like a great deal. I will probably get one in the near future.
My Samsung A53 5G was well worth the £249 that I paid for it on Prime day. It works for me as a gaming phone. I played Blades and saw good details in dark caves due to its HDR display.
A bit of a step down from A52. I use Bluetooth 24/7 but there are times when an aux is the only option. Another one bites the dust 😮💨
Midrange phones are a better buy than super expensive flagship phones.
Iphones givin' em away on my channel in a video soon.
bruh that iPhone from 2014💀💀💀
