Mint Mobile has been suffering for awhile. Customer service is terrible. Actual service is rough. Porting in is hit or miss. No one there seems to know what they're doing. This is coming from a customer. I honestly think it would have died if they hadn't sold. T-Mobile will have to put in some work to get it back on track.

I also have a 1Gbit fibre connection but only because it cost me the exact same as 80Mbit ADSL or fibre did at the time everywhere else (and I wasn't forced to take a TV package). The ISP said at the time: "The infrastructure is there so why not just make use of it?". This is in The Netherlands though. But the only time I make full use of that is when I need to download a sizable game.

more things linus didnt mention that show how wrong he is about ryan: 1) mint mobile is just a subsidiary of ultra mobile, who the deal is ultimately with. 2) while ryan may be owner/ceo of mint that doesnt mean his statement now is any less "filled with air" than any prior statement. things are fluid, not static. and he always still had to answer to his parent company, and a board of directors before that. none of his prior statements were ever set in stone. and like any good ceo/owner listened to a bunch of advisors (c-suite) as well. linus built ltt so grass roots, and kept it so unique he really has no idea about "traditional" business. i mean he flunked out of uni. never went back and did any business courses, or got a mba. but he sits there and judges other, much more successful, business owners? okay dude. weird flex. especially when you clearly make a shit load more than your employees living in a mansion you spend 6+ figures fixing up while all your "extreme tech upgrade" staff live in apartments/townhomes, or with their parents.

Proxmox runs on Linux, not Windows. It can run any kind of VM including Windows. But Proxmox itself cannot be installed on Windows.

Commuting is definitely the worst part of not being WFH. Recently had a promotion which means I now need to be on site due to data privacy reasons (work in banking law) and its turned it from 3 hours per week to over 15 commuting.
Wouldn't people be even more open/honest to their mental help specialist than with a lawyer or doctor, mainly because you would typically spend more time discussing things with your therapist? I think at this point I would rather take my chances with an A.I. therapist and at least give it a shot… Probably be more secure because it's simply less likely to care about anything. 🤔🤯
