my guy my 1050 ti mobile and Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300HQ can play the game at 60 fps consistant exept for the fly girls they lag the game hard.
I’ve been screen share to tv playing game with an PS4 controller nothing extra needed over air play’s graphics amazing. iPhone my new games console which means I save money. Will pick up PS5 controller for my iPhone

If Apple keep producing iPhones in numerical order as they have been for a couple years now, I think by the iPhone 17-19 it will be able to run AAA games with no problem. However, as the Apple tech for gaming develops further, so will the games themselves graphics wise, physics wise, etc. I’m wondering how that will work, and if Apple will be able to keep up with the more demanding games of the future?

AAA games are not meant for phones, and you can make anything run on an mobile phone as it's basically a computer. But you also not make a video with a netbook that run AAA GAMES
I have been waiting for this. Im thinking how that good screen would look on mobile vr case. Maybe better. If phone screens will get better simple mobile vr will look amazing. And vr cases cost like 20 EU.

The Nintendo Switch is basically an Android phone from 2017 that runs games like Tears of the Kingdom and Smash Bros Ultimate natively and buttery smooth in most cases, and it took playing a port of Resident Evil on a brand new iPhone for Linus to get excited about the prospect of AAA experiences on a mobile device? There's no reason outside of lack of desire from Capcom that that Resident Evil game can't run natively on Switch. Publishers like Bethesda get stuff like that running quite well on Switch all the time. I'm not saying what we're seeing here isn't impressive. I'm just saying you're late to the party.
I wish you guys tried the pro max instead. But I also wonder how this device would perform at 15w TDP vs 4w tdp.

but the problem with mobile gaming has always been game quality rather than graphics power IMO
the latency with Geforce now is surprisngly good on my iphone 15 pro max tho, I assume partially due to the AV1 encoder that's native to it?
iPad mini and the iPad line up will play this much better which what I am excited about it.
They need to partner up with sony and make an absurdly killer gaming handheld. Xperia play 2? Hell yes. Apples amazing hardware and software combined that with sonys years of experience on game controllers dynamics and what not

I hope developers start investing more time in developing games that can run on Mac devices natively. Every piece of consumer electronics I own is Apple, except for my PC, which is Windows, so I can play the games I want. While Windows is okay I'd much prefer not having to swap around ecosystems and just use Apple

If the Smartphone destined to evolve into a convincing recreational solution, it will supplant the Playstations and boxes within the home theatre setups of console gamers long before the PC market is significantly impacted and in either case, will occur as a result of our increasing dependency on "communication devices" as digital Swiss army knives than any technological revolution that renders conventional gaming platforms redundant overnight.
Dedicated handhelds such as the Switch, Steamdeck, Ally and others along with less bulky headsets in the not too distant future will all continue to fill the niches for FPS enthusiasts in desperate need of portability.
