What happens when longtime Android users are given iPhones, Apple Watches, and accessories for a full month? It’s time for the conclusion to the iPhone vs Android Series. Yvonne, Justin, and Natalie all switched over to iPhone for a month to see if the Apple ecosystem IS just that much better. Or will they be begging for their Androids back?

All the Apple problems can be easily solved, it is so immensely frustrating.
On the iPhone calender app you can zoom in and out to see an entire day
iOS is simply superior. Ive been an android user for all my life, switched to the 13 pro max a couple years ago and tried to switch back to the S25 Ultra a month ago. I couldnt. I now have a damn 1,5k Phone on my desk i dont even want to use because android sucks big time. iOS is just objectively SO MUCH BETTER. Especially when google wants to block sideloading on android now.
I tried an iPhone 11 a few years back when it was much newer, but decided to go back after spending 2 years with it as it really was overall worse than my Android before it (LG G6). Hardware side it was definetly faster, but what really disapointed me was: no support for my language, meaning no word suggestions or anything like that making the typing experience much longer than what I was used to, it worked terribly when connecting to the car via CarPlay, for some reason bluetooth was constantly disconnecting and the view was zoomed in quite a bit more than Android Auto, meaning I see less of the navigation, no side loading applications (I still refuse to pay for youtube), the back gestures as sometimes it was in the opposite corner from where my hand is, sometimes you can just swipe back. Air Drop was amazing, but there were enough flaws that I swithched back and bought a Pixel 6 (G6 still works well, but wanted something new as the latest Android on my old phone is v9). It's quite a major upgrade, everything feels faster and universal back gesture is amazing, all the disconnecting issues when driving dissapeared.
8:14 you can select app and add to a folder on iPhone
And there you have it
When i switched from my galaxy s8 to Iphone, everything transfered over no problem. and that was while my galaxy was dying.
Longer battery life on Apple Watch would be a game changer but you can get a full day’s use and use sleep tracking if you just charge while you shower. It charges fast enough which is what they prioritised
Quite a few of these issues are due to the user not knowing what to do: with Apple Pay, you double tap and THEN touch the phone at the till. With the Apple Watch, it fast charges so charge it whilst you’re in the shower and it’ll last all day.
I’ve been on both systems. They both have their ups and downs but for 90 percent of the instances they work the same. I currently am on iOS and the main reason I stay with iOS is the device to device experience. Having the same apps, messages, and notifications on my iPad MacBook and phone is awesome. I think being in the walled garden with the gaming chops outside of that garden it’s a decent blended approach.
I love that rating scale
When moving apps around the Home Screen on iOS you can hold the app you want to move and while holding that tap all other apps you want to also take with it and it groups them together you can drag them all easier! 👍🏻
I'm thinking that it might be interesting if we're able to hear the participants in this video with the switch to android ones. Just to have them converse with each other. 🤔
I don’t like the new side button on the 16. I know it’s programmable, but I miss the inset switch to mute the device and I’ve muted my phone many times by mistake with the button. I never liked them moving the power button from top to side either, as I’ve grabbed numerous unwanted screenshots. The best thing on the 16 for me (moving from a 14) is being able to get rid of lightning cables and using USB-C like I’ve done with iPad for years now
17:30 Turkish yeyboard 🙂
Is this hidden ad for REDBULL
its interesting watching this It makes me thinks if you put these people into the woods and told them to go survive they would all just lay down and give up
It's weird how many people don't use windows phone link (microsoft) but wish they had apple wireless transfers to PC… like… it's right there for you… right now
I don't understand the part where double click camera button on apple have different outcome? I thought double click camera always show apple pay?
You can keep your settings in the camera ☺️ go to settings and choose “remember my settings”
While that Reddit user didn’t explain why there’s no Close All button for multitasking, probably because it’s been explained many times, he is right. It saves speed and energy to wake an app from suspend instead of opening it anew every time. Current devices have enough RAM that they can automatically manage open apps very well. Only force close apps if you’re having an issue!
How they managed to drop their phone enough times so they can tell if it's more or less than with their previous ones? 😀 I have the same phone for like ~6 years and dropd it twice.
9:43 If that feature annoys you, why don‘t you just turn it off?
12:53 HTC introduced it with the HTC One (m7) it was one of the features of the new ultra pixel camera.
13:16 I miss the headphone jack🥲
I don’t understand how people drop their phones so much.
I love Business Calendar, I've been using it forever. It is so feature packed.
10:07 Yvonne what would I do is new so is just charge it before sleeping (20-30 mins whatever, its fast) and it is fine until 1.5 day that gets you the next day and both night
Switching is a daunting task regardless of the choices. Unless your current one is so bad, most people wouldn't find a reason to do so except maybe trying to be adventurous 😄
I've had motion photos for years with my S9 plus
In fairness the Apple v Android argument is kind of a dumb one this day and age. Both are smart phones with near identical capabilities.
The only difference with Andorid is the user choice factor, which, unless you're a technical end user – you don't care about.
"Can't mute my apple watch" – haha.
8:05 No, you can tap more apps while „holding“ one when in edit mode and it will add that app to it. Just add them all, then drop them in the folder. No need to do one by one.
I will NEVER buy/use anything by Apple, EVER!
Apple is for people who don't like to think….
Host did great! Sorry don'tcwant to butcher your name 😉
The live photo feature is also something (most? all?) Android phones have these days too…
Elijah killing it as a host 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
7:01 For Yvonne: There is a mode in the native calendar app which shows a very good compact view no such scrolling…you can change the view there
6:48 the standard iPhone calendar literally has pretty much the same thing, just gotta make sure you are in list mode when you are zoomed out. Doesn‘t take much to figure it out, but yeah, they could make that better with a little setup or something since many people still don‘t get it.
Team Android FTW 🗿
I love that Nat constantly calls out that Android already does most of this and that Apple usually copies Android <3
the reason his bluetooth works so well is that apple still uses the SBC codec, which is the lowest possible quality. It's a bt like using 2.4ghz wifi which has a longer range but less throughput. There are codecs that offer over 10x the bitrate of sbc, and at 24-bit, and a few codecs at even 32-bit, instead of SBC's 16-bit limitation.
Your android can be set to output using the sbc codec too using the developer options.
if you need the range or to penetrate walls / floors then SBC is for sure the way to go, but if you have an LDAC or better supported headphone / speaker and are in close proximity to your device, then it will offer much higher audio fidelity,
Symbolic, that intro was shoot near blackberries
I Hate iPhones
The same thing happened with my with WHATSAPP! OMG glad to hear that I'm not alone on this😭😭
