If you're publishing blueprints, why I'd like to see is a video to go with it, walking people through it, what it does, how it was made and how to edit it.
I'm sick of home assistant YouTubers not showing/explaining how they've made something. For beginners, it's f*cking annoying as there's no/little info which helps us/community lean and grow. It's mostly 'here, look what I've done'
Hi Reed, long time watcher here. I am sorry to hear about Luna. What a great companion she was!
Few things about the content:
1. I want to watch the content that you enjoy making and makes you proud of your work. When you're happy with your work, it shows.
2. I understand these are probably the most financially difficult videos to make, but your comparison/review videos are game changers for me when deciding on certain products. Recently I went to (re)buy a light strip and found that Kasa no longer makes the AMAZING strip you recommend as top tier in your video. I bought many strips and wished I had your video to support my decision 😅
3. I don't mind the sponsorships. I know you need to make your money and it is no problem to clip skip 3-6 times to get past your spiel (shhh don't tell 'them' I don't watch it). If YOU don't like doing them, then that's a different story.
I guess moral of it is: you do you! Be true to yourself and we're here for the ride.
I’m so sorry about Luna… was so fun to see your wingman in your videos
im sorry for you lost i know the feeling like others that know it sucks it well get better and can yo show us how to set up two different wifi at the same not not a mesh or a booster
Love and wishes to your family <3
Sorry about your doggy. I'm dealing with my little Lucy cat getting older right now.
Sorry to hear about Luna.
I'm sorry for your loss. RIP Luna ❤
Can't wait for those Beginners Guides! I've literally just acquired a PC to use as a HAOS server. Haven't loaded anything yet, but will be holding on until those videos are available.
RIP Luna.
Sorry about Luna❤
I'd love to see more comparisons of various sensors and brands of switches and what not. There are so many brands and every year come out, I'd love to see this being a recurring thing over time. Best switches 2024, best water sensors 2024, best motion detectors,. Etc.
Start from zero, no existing hardware. Matter, Thread, & Hard Wired PoE as much as possible,. Homey Pro, future proof, no Zigbe, Zwave, one hub only. How to achieve the future state now, with limited hardware options. i cant even get quality light switches!!
*Package swipers now use WiFi Jammers!
Sorry to her about Luna. I’m going to miss seeing her in your videos.
Made me sad to hear about luna, she's gonna be missed by your community as well but remembered fondly. Are you going to invite a new dog into your life?
Btw Paul has done home assistant beginner videos, but I'm still looking forward to yours.
Rip Luna 😢
So sorry to hear about Luna. I lost my dog 16 years ago and I still miss him.
So sorry to hear about Luna. Wishing you all well.
I love the idea of a Home Assistant beginners guide. There are a few guides around. The toruble is, Home Assistant changes so quickly that a beginners guide ends up out of date within a few months.
Don't want to discourage you though and I look forward to seeing your beginners guide. I have been using Home Assistant sicne 2016, and I know so much has changed.
Try to make Jarvis! We got gpt, Raspberry pi and other stuff…
